Photos are best before 14 days old. They will be sleepy and posable. If your babe is older than 14 days old, this does not mean that you cannot get newborn photos taken... it just means that some poses will not be doable.

Feed babe upon arrival so they are nice and milk drunk. A full baby is a happy baby.

Make the room warm & cozy so we can change babe and get them naked while keeping them happy!

For in-home photos, have a spot in mind you would like them (ex: on your bed, in the nursery, on the couch) and have cups cleared off ends tables etc. You don't have to clean your house, just have a tidy spot for the portrait.
